Welcome from Tom Henry

As your mayor, I’ve been working hard to create opportunity for our city – the opportunity for business to grow good jobs, the opportunity for neighborhoods to thrive, and the opportunity for our city to succeed.

Together, we’ve achieved some tremendous accomplishments. We’ve held spending flat, come in under budget every year and put Fort Wayne on track to pay down 40 percent of city debt by 2015. Most importantly, we did it all while continuing to deliver high quality services, from snow removal to a new solid waste program that saves 1 million dollars for residents.

During these tough times, we’ve kept Fort Wayne moving forward. While other cities are struggling, we’ve made smart investments, improved our infrastructure, and kept our city finances strong and sound. We’ve done the hard work to attract new businesses that will bring new, good paying jobs, and we’ve kept our city moving forward.

But we’re not done yet, and I’m running for re-election to finish the work that we’ve started. Together, we’ll keep our neighborhoods healthy, keep our city strong, and keep our community on the path to prosperity.

Join me, and we’ll keep Fort Wayne moving forward, and together, we’ll guarantee a bright future for our city.

Best,
